Science Venture

Welcome to ScienceVenture.org. This site is designed to help researchers get funded through public donations and to serve as a helpful guide for researchers of all types.

Science Venture is a project to help the field of science. Not all of us have PhDs but there are hobbyists and enthusists who run their own studies and this site is the in-between. Here you will find resources on how to write quality articles, where to get published, and if you join the site as either a donor or a researcher, it will be a venue through which to fund real research.

Have you ever wanted to give money directly to someone who's working on a particular project without paying it in taxes and hoping it reaches the right people or donating some money to an institution for the director of that institution to allocate as they see fit? Well, here's your chance to read about some of the current projects going on in the field. This site doesn't cater to quacks and the researchers here are subjected to writing a research proposal before just asking for money so if you see a project you'd like to fund, please don't hesitate to do so.

If you're a researcher - maybe a post-bac or a hobbyist who might not have the letters after their name to prove they know something but you feel you can contribute to the field, regardless, please submit your proposals and we'll help you find funding.

We're also a handy resource to find out how to write a good article and where to get it published, as well as a place to find some basic protocols or go ahead and check out our forums for that specific question on just how fast you should be running that agarose gel or how much EDTA to use in your DNA extraction.
